DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinois...Wisconsin... Fox River Lower Near New Munster affecting Kenosha and Lake Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Fox River Lower near New Munster. * WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 11.5 feet, Water is in the yards of some homes in the Village of Salem Lakes and Town of Wheatland areas, including Riverside Dr and Shorewood Dr. There are 3-4 inches of water over 77th Street in the Town of Wheatland. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 11.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 3:00 AM CDT Friday was 11.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Monday evening and continue falling to 10.3 feet Thursday evening. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.7 feet on 02/08/2019. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Hail is a form of precipitation which is recognized by large solid balls or clumps of ice. Hail is created by thunderstorm clouds with strong updrafts of wind. As the hailstones remain in the updraft, ice is deposited onto them until their weight becomes heavy enough for them to fall to the earth's surface.

Hail storms can cause significant damage to crops, aircrafts, and man-made structures, despite the fact that the duration is usually less than ten minutes.

A mammatus cloud is a cloud with a unique feature which resembles a web of pouches hanging along the base of the cloud.

In the United States, mammatus clouds tend to form in the warmer months, commonly in the Midwest and eastern regions.

While they usually form at the bottom of a cumulonimbis cloud, they can also form under altostratus, altocumulus, stratocumulus, and cirrus clouds. Mammatus clouds warn that severe weather is close.
